I had the same experience with a Marine that was home on leave. I told him that my brother had fought during the Vietnam War and I understood what he must be going through. He kept saying that I didn't know what he had done. I could imagine what he meant. He had told me what they were told to scream at the Iraqi people and what they were supposed to do to them. Listen to these young men and women. They have seen such atrocities that their very souls have been wounded. I can't stand the thought that there are so many lives being destroyed over this illegal war against these people.Theirs and ours. Now their spinning lies to go to war with Syria and Iran. Hell, it was planned long ago...........Spin those lies.....to cause a draft.

Marines can cry too.
If you'd ever seen a Buddy gutted like a fish by an explosive device , left behind to kill anyone who came along , military or civilian,
or dragged a wounded child out of the line of fire , maybe you'd understand.
But no you sit at your computer and condemn them. You spread
propaganda and seek to undermine those who go , where Angels
dare to tred.
MARINES are not SUPERMEN , they're Human and they have
emotions !
Maybe, he'd just read one of your little pieces of anti-military B.S.
and was crying a anger.

Sense the day my son became a Marine I have only seen him cry once and that was the day he went to one of his brother Marine funeral. So does that make my son a coward? I think NOT!! So keep your crap up it just shows what kind of man you really are and by the way I think I know who you are? does the letters zxz mean anything?

That really depends. I most likely would have asked him What was wrong and if there was anything I could do to help him. But this could end up costing you a lot of time. If he decides/d to talk with you he may just need a shoulder to lean/cry on. This being he could end up talking to you for hours on end.

Oh he must have been crying at being responsible for taking so many lives!
You should have asked him to unburden himself by tendering a public apology to his victims and their families including orphans and pledging to stop his co-marines from killing others.
He can even consider serving his victims near and dear ones

There is not much that makes a marine cry.
It is almost always a perceived failure on their part.
You should have thanked him for his service and asked him if there was something you could do.
Even if you don't believe in the war.

You should have helped the man. He is putting his life on the line to protect you.

I think you should've gone to your shrink and talk about these flights of fancy you seem to have on a daily basis.

You should have thanked him for all he has done wearing the uniform and ask if there was anything you could do for him.

Keep your ugly mouth shut and leave him alone. No one care what you have to say.
