Jesus Christ is Jehovah God in a visible body. Jesus Christ is the "I Am" or "I Exist" - the same God as in the Old Testament. Scripture always declares one God and this one God is a marriage of Divine Love and Divine Wisdom which is where male and female comes from and why marriage is between one man and one woman. It helps every day to know these things.
"As regards the Word particularly, it has existed in every age, though not the Word we possess at the present day. Another Word existed in the Most Ancient Church before the Flood, and yet another Word in the Ancient Church after the Flood. Then came the Word written through Moses and the Prophets in the Jewish Church, and finally the Word written through the Evangelists in the new Church. The reason why the Word has existed in every age is that by means of the Word there is a communication between heaven and earth, and also that the Word deals with goodness and truth, by which a person is enabled to live in eternal happiness. In the internal sense therefore the Lord alone is the subject, for all goodness and truth are derived from Him" (Arcana Coelestia n. 2895).

I've been a Christian for a longer period of time than most of you have been alive. Jesus entered my life when I was 16 years old. (I'm NOT going to tell you how old I am now!) Since that time, I have experienced much growth and understanding in the ways of God, but he is still testing me, trying me and helping me grow each day to be more like Him. My greatest joy is in knowing that He chose me, loves me, and that I will be with Him forever.
One of the most influential books I've read recently on the Christian walk is "Waking the Dead" by John Eldridge. If you want to know what real freedom in Christ is all about, this is a must read. (By the way, I get nothing for recommending this book except maybe an eternal reward.)

I have been a "born again" christian for over half of my life. Ever since that time, I have done what I can to seek out the way, the truth, and the Light. Had it not been for my faith in Christ and the solid foundation on which I now stand, I would have been lost forever with the death of my husband three years ago. We were married for 3 weeks and then he was tragically killed in a car accident. Yes, part of me wants to demand to know why. But another larger part of me also knows the answers to the questions I seek will come with time and when He feels I am ready for that answer. Jesus is my Lord, my Saviour and I will never deny His name or greatness. To anyone who thinks
the rest of us 95% believing Christians suffer from some form of mass dillusion? I can only pray that God will guide you down the path He feels is right for you...

I was brought up in a Christian family, by my mother's sister, because my natural mum had suffered a severe stroke when I was 11 days old.
I was always aware that God had his hand on my life, since I can remember, but I did not commit my life to Him, and ask forgiveness for my wrong doing until I was 13.
At the age of 11, my uncle (dad) who had brought me up, met with a fatal accident whilst working in the coal mines. I saw the love and compassion of the Lord working through other Christians toward us as a family which had a big impact on me. I also knew that my uncle (dad) loved the Lord and I knew that He was in heaven.
Five months later, my natural mum, who had been unable to bring me up, but who I saw from time to time suddenly died, after suffering another stroke, so to me, I had lost 2 parents.
I did not have the assurance that my natural mum was a believer, and I saw my natural dad fall to pieces and turn to alcohol.
The difference in the way the two families dealt with bereavement impacted me, and I knew even at the age of 13, that I wanted to decide to live my life for Jesus. I had seen the reality of my aunt and uncle's faith, and wanted that too.
I have been a Christian now for 37 years, and I know that at the tender age of 13, I made the best decision of my life. I see that God has guided me throughout my life. He keeps changing me into the person He wants me to be, giving me peace even through the most difficult times, and keeps loving me unconditionally. I truly recommend the Christian life, and that is not all - I am assured of a place in Heaven - for eternity.

yes i have. how has God changed MY life? He delivered me from a life of lesbianism, He delivered me from alcohol and drugs, He filled my heart with true love for myself and others, He has given me a whole new family in Him through Jesus. i could go on & on, the point i'm trying to make is God set before us a universal question " Today i have given you a choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now i call on heaven and earth to witness to the choice you make, Oh that you would choose life , so that you and your descendants might live! You can make this choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying Him, and commiting yourself firmly to Him. This is the key to your life. And if you love and obey the Lord, you will live long in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Deut 30:19-20

YES, but i accepted Him as my Savior long before i made Him my Lord.
my best testimony is my life (then vs now), not just my lifestyle either...
i ran into a friend i haven't seen in years. while catching up, i could see a look on her face that she was trying to figure something out. she finally asked me why i seemed so different yet looked the same. i couldn't help but laugh and cry for joy as i told her that the difference she saw/felt was Jesus.
the best thing Jesus did for me was simple... He LOVED me!
ps... He loves you too!

I love JESUS and I not ashamed to say it.
HE stepped into my life when I didn't have anyone or anywhere else to turn to.
Last year, I was facing a financial burden of astronomical proportions.
In desperation, I cried out to HIM.
HE let me know that HE was aware of what I was going through and that HE was in it with me.
HIS presence in my life has made all of the differnece in the world.
HE hasn't removed the burden from my life, but it is no longer threatening me!
