I am ready to fight, how many people are willing to fight on our own turf, our states, counties, cities, landmarks, memorials, even our bases when terrorism enters this country by us leaving them alone??

And who are these people you will fight? Do they belong to any particular country? Do those countries have ways and means of transporting their soldiers/warriors to the shores of the United States?
May be I am behind times but last time I checked no one has yet developed the "teleportation" machine of Star Trek so that these "enemy combatants" can teleport themselves from their respective countries to mainland US. So probably they will need ships, LOTS of ships, to transport their soldiers to the US shores. Do these nations have these required ships? Do those ships travel too fast for the US navy to catch up?
Look at your question, look at its ridiculous implications.

If we pull out of Iraq early the insurgents are going to overrun the newly formed government and instability will again return to that region. Then we will be back over there fighting yet again. Iraq is a major supplier of oil to the United States. Stability in the Middle East benefits everyone in the world. Even the left wing liberals like their oil, because they sure as hell have a cow when we try to cut our dependency on foreign oil by drilling in our own country.

I'm ready, but here's the ironic part. They same people who believe in cut and run are the same people that don't believe individuals should have guns. And they are the same people who live in the cities most likely to be targeted by terrorists - New York, Chicago, L.A....
It could all end up in a very ironic situation.

what makes you think iraq has anything to do with terrorism?
it has been shown many times that there is no connection other than they hated each other.
the only way to fight terrorism is with covert operations. send spys out to infiltrate terrorist groups, and when they are about to do something, you arrest them all and stop them. simple, cheap and fair and doesnt get many thousands of people and americans killed either.

Hey....ready anytime, but the " War " in Iraq needs to end. Those who fail to study history are doomed to repeat it. Vietnam. We were fighting to stop the Communist from taking over the world and fighting us in the streets....sound familiar??

Funny Mann, but notwithstanding your bastardized understanding of Vietnam, our effort in preventing Communism from taking over the world seems to have worked last time I checked!

Your premise is wrong. 100,000 troops in Iraq has nothing to do with preventing terrorists worldwide from hopping on airplanes. That's a totally separate problem.

i like playing military video games but in them you could have 1 hundred lives where in life you only have one life to live. how do you use a gun anyway? i mean you would have to spend a week in school to learn how to use one. so while your are learning , many innocent would be lost. but if tere are other men and women fighting i might consider it.
