Why do they beleive Allah is some evil guy, and/or isn't true? Don't you know that Allah means God, it is just in another language? It is like you people are so arrogant that you believe english is the only right language.

Please note that you know Allah means God except in another language. If you still think Allah is different from God, list why please.

Because Christians believe that their God, had a son in human form, that was Jesus Christ. Muslims do not believe that Jesus was the son of God....but that he was a prophet for God.

therefore......since they believe what they believe...and because Muslims believe what they believe....and neither one will concede that they might be wrong....Christians believe that the Muslim God ( whom you call Allah )...must be some other God...not theirs.

Yes I know Allah is the word for God in Arabic. However, when a Muslim uses the word Allah, it is a loaded word that means a lot.
The Muslim view of Allah or God is vastly different from the God of the Bible.

The God of the Bible is...well He is a lot of things. Here are a few major ones and different ones:
1. God is love
2. God came in human flesh (as Jesus)
3. God (the Son/ Jesus) died on the cross and rose again.
4. God's basis for judging people is what they did with Jesus.
5. God desires all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of Him.
6. God is spirit.
7. God is more than the moon God, he is the creator of all things.

Now, in many ways the Muslim god & the biblical God have similar characteristics: Holy, mercy, just
This is a huge question. Below is a book worth checking out.
By the way, I am a follower of Jesus and have had many Muslims live at our house. I have many dear friends that are Muslim however, our gods are still very different.
Hope this helps.

I am Protestant (Christian). I had a friend who was Muslim. I have always understood that "Allah" means God in another language. I think my friend and I believed different things when we got more in-depth about our beliefs, bible, etc., but we both recognized God. I don't know why there are so many Christians judging others. I thought that was God's job. The bad Christians give the good ones a bad name. I respect people of all religions because that means that they are at least trying to do some good and not just cause havoc.

Was allah an Arab moon god?
You don't understand Christianity came from Jesus the messiah.Prophesied in the old testament.
Mohammad started centuries later combined pagan worship of allah with Mohammad ideas and borrowed old and new testament scriptures.
The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is the old testament.
The Arab God allah was an idol that became the muslim god.
There is no connection betwwen Islam and Christianity.
The Arabs call Christians Infidals for not acceting Islam (remmember the twin towers).
The bible makes it very clear God accepts no other Gods.
He won't accept just because of political correctness.

I hope that I can articulate this right -
I hear a lot of people saying that we all worship the same God- just because we use the term God, no matter what language it is in - does not mean the we are worshiping the same God. there is one true god and then there are many gods of people's own making and imagination- the God's that they are comfortable with. I don't judge someone else's god by name- I judge by attributes. If someone told me they met my mom and started describing a heavyset blonde woman who talked with a New York accent, I would know for sure that was not my mom- no matter how much they believed it was and whatever led them to believe that- it is just not who my mom is. Same with god. I know the one true God, the God of Abraham , Isaac and jacob, the god who is just and merciful, the God who sent His only begotten son to die in my stead and overcome death hell and the grave. If someone starts describing a god to me that has attributes contrary to the one true God or whose words contradict what is in the Bible, then I don't care what language you use, I don't care what name you use, you can even use the same name I do, if the attributes don't match, then you are not worshipping the same God. And finally if oyur God tells you to do things that I know by the word of god and the Holy Spirit that the one true God would never command, then I will definitely be questioning the 'goodness' of your God, regardless of what you call him!
It's pretty much a commons sense issue. I mean why do you assume that just because I don't accept Allah as God it has to do with a language thing?? God is just a generic term that can be used to label anything that takes any kind of precedence in a persons life.

I know that Allah means God, and to those of the Muslim faith, He is the one true God.

Christians are taught to believe that there is one true God as well. To them, God is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. As believers, they cannot accept any other God. To do so would be against Christian teachings.

They may or may not believe that Allah is evil, they simply do not recognize him as God for they have been taught otherwise.

I'm a christian and I know that allah means god in another language. I also know that muslims call god allah, I call him god because I'm christian. Does that mean that I think he's evil? No that just means that I'm not muslim.

Belief in allah, Buddha, God, etc. etc. is folly. We as a human race are but immature toddlers. We have a long way to go before we grow up.

It's all Santa, the Easter Bunny etc. etc. (unfortunately it's also on the front page - Palestine, Hezbollah, Hamas, missiles, rockets, death and destruction)

Until we as a human race realize that believing in witches, warlocks, angels, demons, devils and gods are all a huge waste of time and energy (war), we will remain immature, illogical and dangerous to each other.

We need to believe in the truth . . . testable, repeatable observations in the real world. Once we as a human race do this, we can mature into a united non-divisive society that has a common belief in the truth. Free yourself from fear, racism, violence, faith and ignorance. Join together in a real search for truth that respects knowledge and wisdom.

I believe Allah is the same as God.

Some Christians are as evil, hypocrite and arrogant as any devil. Those are the ones that wish to kill-off anyone who does not share their interpretation of anything.

George Bush and his followers belong to that sect. Be watchful in the near future and see that what I say is true.
