My Granny has a favorite granddaughter, and she's 26 has 3 kids and keeps bringing in a new man every week. She recently had an abortion, but she told Granny that it was a miscarriage, just so Granny would continue to watch her kids (7 yr old girl and 5 yr old twin boys). Should I tell Granny the truth, or continue to let her watch the kids so the cousin can go get knocked up again?

Right now I am more worried about the kids. The little girl came up to me the other day crying about "Mommy kissing every boy that came around." All three of the kids have also started to cling onto complete strangers wherever we go. It's really scary because you never know what some people are capable of,

no hon, as tempting as it is, don't get involved. Instead speak to the slut, I mean the favorite granddaughter, and perhaps strongly suggest she tell the truth. If it comes from you, it'll only look like pettiness. Stay true to yourself and your granny. Don't hurt her. Sounds like the other one is doing a good job of it all by herself!

This is between your cousin and your grandmother. It's your cousin's job to tell her grandma the truth.

Actually, I see no direct correlation between a woman having an abortion and her grandmother babysitting her kids. The kids need watching whether Mom is careless with her sex life or not. The kids, after all, have their own relationship with their great-grandma.

However, if you really feel that your cousin is taking advantage of grandma in a horrible way--and it isn't just jealousy or envy on your part--pray for wisdom first, then go tell Granny, but be prepared for a fallout. Maybe you and Granny can help your cousin get her act together. The kids will still need babysitting, though--and good relationships with their elder relatives.

That's a "yes & no" question. yes because your grandmother has the right to know what's going on. No, because your cousin shouldn't lie to your grandmother, she should grow up and tell the truth becasue when your granny finds out, does your cousin think your grandmother gonna watch her kids then, no. your grandmother probably won't ever believe anything that your cousin says anymore. So if your cousin doesn't grow up and tell your granny, then you should definitely tell your grandmother.

You should convince her to come clean. It would be the best way for all 3 of you. This mother of 3 will eventually get what is coming to her and chances are it won't be good! If you 'tattle', what do you gain from it? Do you really want that kind of pressure put on you. She screwed up and will at some point have to take responsibility for it.

First allow your cousin to tell her the truth. Set a time line that it must occur in and follow up. If it is not done, check your motives and follow your conscience. Peace.

Well, maybe you shouldn't get in the middle of all that. This just may lead to some serious family problems. Talk to your parents, and let them decide. Best of luck......

tell the grandaughter that she had better tell grandma the truth BEFORE you do. Give her a chance to come clean, and if she doens't , the go for it.
