tell me wut it`s like 2 have braces, b/c i have 2 get them soon. like dus it hurt or wut?

I had them a while back when I was still in elementary school (so what 10 years ago, yikes). I had them for like 18 months...it hurt when they put them on for a day or two (take some advil or soemthing, it totally helps), and then sometimes after i went in to get them checked every month...

I wore braces for 2 years, it's not really a big deal. The most important thing is to keep them clean! If you don't clean in between them enough you can get little white spots on your teeth that DO NOT go away. So make sure you use that little tiny scrub brush the dentist gives you.

I got braces when I was in the 5th grade and I had them for about 3 years. They take some getting used to. They don't hurt to bad except when you get them tightened and sometimes you will get wires that stick out and poke you.

I have them and it's not that bad! The first 5 times you go to get them tightend it hurts, but then next time and after that time they don't hurt because you are used to them! Don't worry it is easier than it sounds! And in the end you have a perfect smile to remember the time that you had your braces!

I had braces about 4 years ago. They hurt alot the first couple weeks. Your mouth will feel kinda tender. But after that u will barely notice them. Sometimes mine would cut the insides of my mouth, but they give you wax now to stick over the brackets so it doesn't do that

i had braces 7yrs ago 4 a year. it's quite painful at the beginning but as soon as ur teeth start to settle again it's fine. u've to be careful of the things u eat, especially sticky stuff like toffees or tough meat. otherwise u shud be fine.

I had them about ten years ago, It hurt when I first got them and then for a couple a days after I got them tightened once a month.

aahh ive to get braces soon too...!! im getting teeth out on tuesday.. really freaking out!! get braces on the 2nd aug or sumat!! and im freaking out cos im going on hols just a week after.. and im seeing my bf... long story... but im freakingo out cos i duno if it will b too sore to do.. u know.. stuff... but like... aaah!!

i have them right now.. it hurts after tehy put them on. u cant eat anythin hard cuz it hurts but u get used to it. im gettin them off soon tho im so happy good luck
