I liked the guy before she started dating him we went out a few times and then i found out she started dating him. He tells me all the time he likes me but then why is he with her? what should i do

If this guy really liked you. He would tell your friend that you are the one he likes. Listen to your gut instincts and go from there. For it is not wise to put your self in a situation as once this guy is tired of you he moves on to the next available girl.

Stay away completely. Do not socialize with them (for your own sanity) and do not encourage him. If things fail between them, then you can make your move again. If you interfere, you will lose somebody you claim to be your "friend" and you will carry a bad reputation as well.
