I do lots of business with people in Canada. A standard one ounce letter from US to Canada needs a $0.63 US stamp on it. The letters I receive from Canada have an $0.80 Canadian stamp on them.
If you have letters or packages of different weights, do as many have said. Go to www.USPS.com. Just put in the size & the zip codes and it will give you the amounts.

A envelope weighing one ounce (a typical letter) to Canada costs $0.63. Use the US Post Office website to calculate postage for other weights.
PS: I can't believe all the incorrect information in the other answers... please check out the website for confirmation so your letter gets there!

Canada-USA $0.89 CAD (last I mailed a letter in May). USA-Canada I do not know. Maybe you can google US Post to find their website.
