I am very curious and kind of scared about recent religious, almost paranormal events happening to me. How could I contact a priest anonymously for free just to tell my story and ask some questions? This is kind of dealing with a demonic or angelic presence (I am not sure if it is good or bad), so what religion of priest would you reccommend i speak with? I know I sound crazy, but answers would be highly appreciated. I am not usually a religious person, please help. Maybe there is a way to speak to one online?

If you need counseling from a priest, start my telling him that you expect privacy. Use the phone book and start making calls.

If you do not get these feelings at work, or other places, maybe it is your home. Consider the thought that you have to move.

I highly advise against doing this. Do your self a favor and talk to anyone else about this.
A few years ago I was having similar experiences. I too thought the right thing to do was talk to a priest. This was the biggest mistake I could have made. Like you I was a bit afraid of what was happening. When I told the priest about it He got very agitated and started talking about demons and evil forces.

Needless to say in the state I was in this scared the crap out of me. I had been waking up at 4am with religious or mystical thought running through my head. Not being in the least bit religious this seemed at the least a bit odd. I wrote some of the things down and took them with me to see the priest. He held the papers with the tips of his fingers like he was afraid that they were going to burn him. He said it was theology at a very advanced level similar to what was taught at a seminary. His whole attitude unnerved me.

I then tried calling a Methodist minister and he was not even interested in talking to me about it. He also seemed very uneasy about the whole idea. It actually took me a couple of years to get over the fear these guys instilled in me.

You have to understand that these things happen to people all the time. They are not bad things. Often they are simply spirit guides, or loved ones who have passed on who care deeply for you and are trying to help you with the things that are happening in your life. Just calm down a bit and wait. Talk to a close friend if you feel comfortable doing this. If you still feel afraid, I suggest that if you have a religious belief or faith ask your deity to watch over you and keep you safe. If you ask sincerely this will be enough. If you want you can email and I will tell you more about what happened to me. It was quite an adventure and turned out to be something very positive in my life, after I got over worrying about all the goofy things the priest had told me. I think you will find that this will end up being a very positive thing for you also. Good luck.

Love and blessings
Don

The yellow pages is the first place to start. You can call a church and request to speak to the "head of the church". Pastor, preacher, priest...they are all about the same when dealing with life's big issues.

Start talking, and if the conversation does not feel comfortable, just politely excuse yourself and call the next phone number in the yellow pages.

I suggest that you contact a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ (Protestant and of a non-denominational church) who has experience in dealing with this sort of thing. I am well familiar with demons, demonic dreams and occurrences, as most gospel preachers are. If anyone tries to charge you money for a consultation, then walk away from them---you are dealing with a charlatan. I suggest that you spend much time in prayer about this. You are seeking help on a serious matter and the devil will try to steer you in every direction but the right one. I pray for you right now that God will keep you on the right track to gain a solution to your inquiry that is Godly. Jesus loves you and if you put your trust in him, then you will be sure of success. God bless you.

I agree with Carol but if you really feel the need to talk to a priest I recommend a catholic priest. Especially with the stuff you are dealing with.

Get the phone book and look up the local Diocese in your area if this is what you wish to do. I'm not Catholic, but I have been to some Catholic functions and retreats and have had experience with help from the Catholic Church after I suffered a miscarriage and before I converted to my current faith. They were wonderful people.

(I am Muslim.)

Sweetie, you dont' need a priest. Just talk to the Lord and pray to him. All you have to do is talk to him like anyone else. He';s right there next to you ,waiting for you to start up a conversation with him.

If you ask the Lord to save you He will disperse any spirits bothering you. Maybe the Lord let this happen because He wants you to know that we are born earthly the spiritual at the same time and live in both worlds at the same time.

Catholics mainly believe in the paranormal. Though they might not want to talk to you if you're not Catholic. If a Catholic Priest won't help, try the Episcopal Church.
