I'm talking about Mary, the mother of Jesus. By the way, we Catholics believe that Jesus is God. Hence the title of Mary as "mother of God". But we don't believe that she is a god or is superior to God or came before God. Mary is a creature like us who God chose out of all women to be His mother. Just like our creed says, "We believe in ONE God..."

Whenever a Protestant tells me that Mary was a sinner, I usually ask them "what sin did Mary commit?" & they always quote Romans, or Mary's Magnificant(where she calls God Saviour), or when she made an offering in the Temple.
Never do they state what "this sin" was.
Therefore, they never support their accusation against Our Blessed Mother.

Was full of Grace, not is full of Grace. Big difference. That she may have had other children after Jesus makes one wonder if the Catholic Church believes sex and child birth is sinful. As A catholic do you ever read what Jesus actually says, or do you just listen to your Priests explainations? Thats the way it used to be before Martin Luther caught your church in too many lies to keep silent. A church that lies was created by a Saint? How odd don't you think?

I'm babtist hence I'm protestant and I don't believe nor have I ever been taught that mary was full of sin. However she was a sinner because she was a human being and all human beings sin.
Maybe you can tell me why catholics worship and idolize her. Can't that be considered worshiping idols? (thoul shall not make for yourself any idols?) She gave birth to jesus she isn't jesus.

Ever read Romans 3:23 "For ALL have SINNED and fall short of the glory of God."? This means that Mary sinned as well. I got a question for you, why do you guys put her on a pedistal, literally and spiritually? She's dead, therefore you are praying to a dead woman. And when you make a sttatue of her, it is considered idolatry, one of the 10 Commandments.

Because Mary was a woman born after the original sin. Mary was just good enough to learn, repent and keep the saying of Jesus close to her heart. Swedenborg said that she is definitely in heaven but praying to her is utterly useless. Angels don't go there - that is like trying to give an angel a compliment and attribute to them the Divine Good that they know belongs to the Lord alone.

Grace does not mean 'without sin', but she had God's favor, a special blessing; she was chosen to have a special roll to play in the plan of God.
But God's Word says, "ALL have sinned, and fall short of his glory" (Romans 3:23); that includes Mary.

Mary is full of grace ... Don't let the doubt enter your heart and make you sin judging her ... If the bible says she is full of grace which is very pure and beautiful ... Be pure in your mind and think positive ... and let the sinners judge her as a sinner ....

mary was a sinner just like you and i, she gave birth to the holy child, but that doesnt make her a saint.. the bible does not dwell on mary as full of grace. the bible focuses on Jesus, which is what all christians should do.

She was full of grace because she was chosen by the Father to give birth to the Son. She was full of sin because she was yet human - a sinful creature.
