Well done... I agree.
The primitive man created religion to find answers to what his mind could not comprehend. We, as species, are very much afraid of the unknown, and religion helped, and still helps, mankind to soothe those fears.

No, God isn't my answer to questions I don't understand, he's the natural answer to almost all the questions that I really do understand. Thinking hard about things is what led me to God in the first place, and it's the same story with a lot of other people.

To quote MissDiva: "There are some questions that are unanswerable no matter how hard you think about them... we have to accept that there are things we don't know... so who can know them? the only logical answer would be a higher power/being "
The difference between religious and nonreligious people is that nonreligious people are ok with the fact that NOBODY know the answers (yet). We don't have to make up a fictional god that knows everything in order to be able to live with ourselves.
I know very well that humans don't know the answer to everything, but I strive to find the answers to answered questions instead of creating religious excuses for them.

Good point. Yes and No is my answer. If its a question I cannot find an answer to, I ask God to show me the answer in His time. But most of the time, I stress myself out looking for an answer which isn't healthy by the way. So I leave it to Him to provide me with a sign or an answer when He feels its time for me to know the answer.

God helps keep me centered. Praying for His guidance gives me inspiration. As a Christian He is a big part of every aspect of my life, especially in how I treat others. If you think following God's will for my life is easy, you are mistaken. God wants us to face the hard questions in life, wherever we may find them. With God's blessings I hope to help people here. Including you. I pray that you will accept Jesus Christ as your personal LORD and Savior. God bless!

well i dont know why people kill others but i know that the answer is not God!
ask Jesus into your life and be born again by the power of the Gospel (an actual real life event in your real life) if you do this in a prayer sincerely God will answer you! you have to truely seek then God will answer!

For some it's a way of keeping their faith. For some it's a blame. For some it's for things unknown or proven which takes faith. But for someone who has no faith they only understand science or concrete proof and answer. Some can deal with both. Viva la difference. Have a good one:-)

No. If I don't know I simply say "I don't know". I've found that people will actually give you an answer or a way to find an answer if you are honest enough to do that.

Whatever the vineyard, (we), needs has been made by God. Hasn't HE given us the talent (mind) to trade with? or are we going to Bury it (so as not to think), thus we blame every failure on HIM. HE wants us to work out every question arises in our minds or from the situations we are exposed to so as to grow adult and mature and know HIM (just one aspect of HIM) well.
