What if God is only going to send those people to heaven that have the courage not to believe in him? What if everyone else is going to hell? I think this demonstrates the ridiculousness of Pascal's wager. It's a terrible argument and I don't understand why people keep using it to try and persuade atheists.

The very sad thing is that, after 2000 years of theology and apologetics, after 2000 years of colonisation and missionaries, after 2000 years of dragging this beautiful world through the depths of superstition, Pascal's Wager still truly explains a good many Christians' rationale for belief. They are basing their entire life and their moral system on a 'gamble'; on a (poorly) calculated risk analysis.

It disturbs me greatly that people could approach the most important questions of life so cheaply.

B/c there's no reason to think G-d would want to specifically have people in heaven who do not believe in Him. That idea is completely baseless and rather ridiculous. On the other hand, the idea of pascal's wager is that its worth worshipping -- being that there is a system of worship which claims divine origin-- than the risks or not worshipping. In other words, its a way to decide between to viable and sensible options. That's the difference.

Since you are calling God a liar and Jesus as well, your diatribe and little hypothesis are not worth considering. Truth is, only people who truly want to go to Heaven go. You don't want to, fine, have it your way. You will get what you desire, an eternity without God. Enjoy.
