144,000 Jews will be going to heaven; everyone else is going to hell. Rev 7:4

And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

Well, you need to read a bit more of the bible and you will be able to see where these people fit into the end times..

In first Thessalonians it talks about all believers being caught up in the clouds to unite with Jesus in our "new"bodies.

The verse you are referring to deals with the very end of the world as we know it. These 144,000 are virgin males if you read a bit more of it. They are removed from the destruction right before it happens.

SO, no, there will be multitudes in Jesus' army when he comes down on the white horse to send the devil to his eternal damnation.

Without reading the whole story, or typing it in here, its difficult to understand. But you have started and that is never a bad thing, keep reading and searching.

Some people just read or hear a certain verse and never search any further and those are the ones that never grow.

Do you always read one part of a book and assume you know what the whole book was about?

How do you know that it means only 144,000 "Jews" are going to Heaven? Maybe it means that's the count of the Hebrews only and there are different numbers for each conceivable subgroup of humans, such as 200,000 brunettes, 700,000,000 computer uses, 1,000,000,000,000 idiots, (because there seems to be a lot of them), and so on and so on?

Read the whole Bible and then come back and give your report.

You are referring to the first group. The sealed people. There is no limitation mentioned. It doesn't say 'only' 144,000 and that's it.
"Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved up to 144,000 people", no, that doesn't sound right.

This quote in Revelation is related to after the rapture of the Christians to heaven at end times. The 144,00 is the remant of Jews left on earth after the Rapture to be witnesses to others left behind.

If you read in Romans, all who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. This means that if you, anyone, jew, gentile, etc, acknowledge that you are a sinner, accept Jesus as Saviour and that he died for your sins, you will be saved, and receive eternal life. John 3:16

That's interesting, but I know there is more in the Bible aside from the 144,000. But I don't care. Even if I don't get into heaven, that won't stop me from saying, "Praise be to God", and his Son, etc.

PS - I wanted to say I like how you answer questions. Keep it up!

No, the "144k" is referring to the number of Jews that will be saved during the reign of the Anti-Christ. So the basic premise behind your question is faulty.

Why convert people to the Bible? Because Jesus ordered his disciples to spread the word, whether people listened or not. Christians are simply trying to obey Jesus.

You just did not understand what you were reading. There will be twelve Elders from each tribe of the Israelites, who will sit in judgement. You sound like a Jehovah's Witness, which in itself is not a religion, but a cult.

144,000 is not all that it says. Pls don't take it out of context. You have to read the rest of it. The number will be uncountable that stand in the presence of the lamb (vs.9).

This is the sort of question that, even when not taken seriously,
makes one wonder why anyone would want anything to do with
any of the traditional organized religions.

They never make any sort of semantic sense. How can anything
(God, or anything else) be omnipotent: Can he dream up a task
that he cannot perform?
