Apart from Samuel,Samson,John the Baptist,has God prohibited
his children from drinking alcohol. If so,then where in the bible?

Surely it is the opposite. You cannot be a Christian unless you drink wine. It is a part of the sacrament.

I'm pretty sure in Proverbs it talks about not even looking at wine as it swirls in the glass... that wine is a mocker and beer is a brawler... however you will find that Paul instructs the church in a letter (maybe Ephesians.. not sure) to drink some wine because they kept getting sick. It's mostly leaders in the church that are commanded to abstain from it completely.

I think it says something to that effect and also that you should not become a drunkard. I mean I'm Catholic and we're known drinkers. So are the Jews-Maneshewitz Wine. Just take it easy. I mean if Jesus created wine from water-can't be that bad!

I'm not sure, my church is Presby and we drink in moderation.
