I'm 13 years old and my doctor said that I will prally be around 5'6 when I'm an adult. Is that too tall? Is there any chance that my height will stop growing now?

5'6 is not too tall....you will probably come close to that if that's what the doc. said.

You don't stop growing until you're 21. However, there is no way of telling how many more inches you'll grow. If you've already gone through a growth spurt, then I would say that you'll only grow 1-3 inches tops. A good way to "appear" like you're taller is by sticking your chest out and standing up straight. Also make sure to get in plenty of calcium. It determines one third of your height. And remember, height does not determine the man.

hey look at the bright side you can be a model. being tall isn't bad. look at it this way, would u rather be a 2 foot tall midget or a normal 5'6 tall girl?
but usally people stop growing it's not like you are going to keep growing everyday.

5'6 is a good height for a normal women. i'm older than u n i'm not even that tall, so be happy about it. u'll probably will keep growing. no doubt about that since u r at the growing age.

the chance is that your doctor is a bit correct and if u start lifting weights and heavy stuff your height would have an effect wont grow much taller like that, try to run daily that way you would have a healthy body and your height would also increase this way

I'm 5'6" and Joan Collins (was a famous actress in the 80's) says it is the perfect height for a woman and i agree ;)
Not too tall not too short! you'll be very lucky :)

no. 5'6 is not to tall. odds are, you cannot stop your height. but caffiene stunts your height. i dont recommend it though. 5'6 is a good height. look at my life for example. im almost 6 feet tall. and i would give to be 5'6 again.

There is always a chance, but no thats not too tall. Thats average, you won't be taller than guys you date, its tall but not giant. You should go out for basketball though. You sound like a good canidate.

Ummm... too tall for what? 5'6" is not that tall. My oldest daughter is 5'9" and men are crazy about her at first sight. Too bad, guys -- she's married! Don't get obsessed about your appearance. Be the beautiful person you are!

No Way!!! That is not too tall at all!! A lot of women are that tall or taller. Actually that sounds about normal, to me.
