Because, at 1 Co. 13:8-10 it says Miraculous gifts of the spirit are foretold to pass away.
Read for yourself.
ps Charisma = Gift from God
Derek = Ruler of the people
Charisma Carpentar = actress
so its just a "meaning of a name"

Yes. The Spiritual gifts are listed in Galatians 5:22, 23. The charisma stuff is of the devil. Jesus loves you.

hi the two! you won't be able to have salvation and not have the indwelling Spirit. he's the seal making certain salvation (see 2 Cor a million:22 and Eph a million:13). yet bear in mind the staggering presents can accompany the present of the Spirit - as got here approximately many cases interior the Bible. Nowhere does it say that those presents could quit. certainly Acts 2:15-21 say that those issues will ensue interior the final days. we could desire to continuously want the presents and not despise them - "persist with the way of affection and eagerly want non secular presents" (a million Cor 14:a million). God bless :-)

You probably mean the "charismata" which just refers to the gifts of the Spirit.
Again in Christian culture there are several views
1) They are all gone completely ceased.
2) They are partly gone (Now this ranges depending on viewpoint)
3) They are all here
The current charismatic movement has actually in my opinion taken a truth that most Christians have overlooked due to fear of misuse and abuse - and completely justified most Christians' fears with extremism and horrific abuses worthy of Satan himself.
There are verses in the Bible that people argue from - I believe the main one is 1 Corinthians chapter 13 - near the end of the chapter

I believe in all the Gifts of the Spirit. However, why would GOD give us such gifts? I strongly believe that the Gifts of the Spirit are to be used for the spreading of the Gospel!!!

I don't know about this charisma. But we certainly do believe in the Holy Spirit. We Southern Baptists, anyway do.

They expired during Bible times. The Bible said the gifts was to help the young congregations and they did. And they ended. The charisma practices you see now may be spiritual, but they are not divine.
