No one knows but God and that person. We would like to believe that they're in heaven, but only that person knows.

Most people assume that they're in heaven because they want to believe they're not in everlasting hell.

I personally do not believe in Heaven and Hell as being actual places. But if I did, I would rather think of my friends & family being in a happy, good place rather than a horrible one. Although there are some people I've known that, if there were a Hell, I'm sure would be there. It's just human nature; everyone would rather believe their loved ones were good people and are enjoying an eternal reward.

I have a hard one with this. No one wants to believe that a loved one or friend is in hell. Yet every day we see people who do things that will surely end them up in hell. And even if they are a stranger to us they are not a stranger to someone else.
You never hear someone say "My grandma died and now she is rotting in hell" Its always "My grandma died but now she is in a better place"
I would truly like to believe anyone I have ever known who has passed away is in heaven. But here on Earth I just really do not know the answer to that.

People want to be polite about making comments of the dead. No one, not even a pastor, will tell a family member that their dearly departed relation is burning in hellfire. It is a matter of social etiquette. I have no doubt that there are many people who do not believe in hell, that heaven is the ultimate resting place for all departed souls. However, this does not jive with either the Old Testament or the New Testament. Jesus loves you.

It has to be decided yet. We have to wait for the end of time to know the answer to that. The Judgement Day. Who knows, it might be close by now. We are moving towards it all the time.
I do not believe everyone I know will go to heaven. I believe people have to earn it.
I see that you like to think about the big questions. Good.

All of the people I have known who have died are just dead, serving the environment by recycling their energy. It's only natural. There is no heaven, and no hell, only the peace of death. Now that's a comfort. I can't imagine spending eternity with some of the examples I have seen of chritianity, in either place.

I personally believe that there is no Hell, we pay for our sins in here, have you heard of Karma. Well what you do will come back to you, some people say it comes back 3 times.

Hell is a place created to scare people and make them follow the commands of church. Remember that the bible was created by man and it was supposed to be an inspiration of God.

Do no harm and live life, what ever you out out there will come to you, if you sent positive messages you will get the same, if you send negative well that will come back as well.. good luck and God bless.

No I do not, I believe that no one is in heaven or hell yet. That will occur after the day of Judgment. And only God knows where we are going to end up.

God will forgive a truly penitent heart. That's why Jesus died on the Cross for. So that those who truly regret their bad deeds and truly believe in him may have their sins cleared and may "rest in the tents of the righteous". Orthodox tradition says that doing good deeds after the death of your loved ones in their name and memory also helps relieving the burden of sins from their shoulders.
So... since most of the people I knew where God loving, practicing Christians and since they did more good than evil I believe that most of them will be in Heaven. I truly believe my father and mother who worked hard and honest to raise me and my brother are in Heaven where they actually belong.

No, I don't believe it. I feel the reason people say they do is to not make the grieving family feel worse, and for using the coming together of mourners as a touch point for reminding everyone that there are eternal consequences for not making right choices in your life.

I´m not saying that... actually i believe most of the people who surround me will join me in hell and we´ll be burning sausages in long tridents and spitting about how wrong we were...
Ohh yeah, and also making jokes about Georgie W... biting a pillow under little Blair while in the concert of Ricky Martin...

hahaha.. ****! I actually can answer the f.....! question, yeah, that´s right, directly to hell...
