My Black Labs ears are a little swollen at the end and they feel like they have little needles poking out of them. Does anyone know what this can be and how I can treat it? Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

How old is the dog? Are they hot/ warm to the touch? If not, don't worry about it. If it is, could be numerous things. The only thing that pops to mind is hematoma (highly doubt that tho) or allergies.

How swollen? Like its filled with water or its a lump? Either way - if it feels like its filled with water then there's a wound that closed with an infection inside and that's pus that making it swell. If it feels like a lump or a solid mass - then it might be a form of cancer or a tumor. Best to take your dog to the vet.

I'm not sure what it could be but I think you should call a vet!! If that is to expensive for you. You could try your local Humanesocity. They may have some sort of program set up for people on a tight budget.

i think he might have ticks that are sucking at his blood. u should take him to the vet because he is in real pain but if u don't have the money go to the pet store and talk to the sales person of which medication you should buy.

it could be baby porcupine quills, if that's the case get it to the vet asap, they have a substance in them that will poison your dog i know i have been their, also check his mouth....
