It's not really that they are afraid but that they have other goals in life. Women are now more interested in starting their careers then starting a family. Average age for getting married is going up while the average # of children per family is going down. It also has something to do with people wanting to take more time for themselves and traveling and that sort of thing.

we live in a different society than we did 30 years ago. relationships and working towards marriage was the goal. today we strive to be pimps and hoes. today's relationships are about how many different partners you have. the kids are influenced by different music today. the songs 30 years ago were about being in love and committing to someone else today's music is about how many bitches i have and how many guns i keep. different time. and its a shame that we have a whole generation of kids that wont know about true love.

Yes, because families are not the same as they were. Women and men don't rely on each other for subsistence(survival) as they once did. Now, everyone can take care of themselves. Divorce is pretty much a given because no one's happy. All there is now, is feminists and *******.

now these days commitment is the no longer the M word. people just stay together if they can Handel the most darkest dirt. my wife and i have go through a lot depression, miscarries, and on line love problems but i learned to adapt to my wife's changes and that what make me stronger and she love me for that . i now been M word for over 8 years now and i sill love her..

no because the states have made it so easy to get out its not funny so most people take relationships as easy come easy go
