I have searched for the file. I am not a techie so this sounds easy to most people, but it is a real pain to me!

control panel. add/remove programs. That should do it.

Afterthought: Just be thankful she didn't download AIM like mine did. That one is a pain to get rid of (but not impossible).

Why u r unistalling Yahoo Messanger? It is a useful software.
By the way you can remove it from Add/Remove Programs.
Go to Control Panel (It available in Start Menu) Click On Add/Remove Programs. Now Choose Yahoo Messsanger then click Remove button.
If it does not works or In add or remove programs section does not show yahoo messanger then you can delete all the files of yahoo messanger. It is generally available on C:\Program files\Yahoo.

Go to Start-->Control Panel-->Add/Remove Programs and then click Yahoo Messenger and Remove it.

Go to your control panel from the start menu. Open add or remove programs. Scroll down till you find Yahoo messenger, click it to highlight, then remove.

You go into the control panel and you select "add/remove programs" if yahoo messenger isinstalled on your PC then it will be listed and you can click on it to uninstall it.

When you go to Start
Settings
Control Panel
Add/Remove
Scroll carefully to Messenger then click it to remove.
Be careful here. The first time I tried removing something I did not realize that the next item then became highlighted. If you are not careful and click again, you will delete something you may not intend to.

Go to control panel> click add and remove prog> click the yahoo messenger.
Administrator password is reqiured to do this.

you should be able to go to control pane..add or remove programs click on Yahoo Messenger and clickon change/delete
