I believe it is a personal choice that ONLY those in that situation can make - we can all say what we would do - but truly do not not know until we are faced w/ that situation .in my opinion it would take one hell of a stroung woman to raise it.

It,s a personal decision, having an abortion because of careless sex could be considered wrong, but rape no you would not be wrong . Also you would not be if you kept it but always think how would you feel knowing every time you look at the baby it could be a painful reminder and how would your baby feel knowing its a product of rape but ultimately it is the mothers choice and every thing happens for a reason what doesn't kill you can only make you stronger

I think - to be honest it shouldn't even get as far as pregnancy. She should take the morning-after-pill straight away.
I was raped when I was 16 and it was almost the first thing I thought of. Then it never got that far so I would end up making that kind of desision.
If I did get pregnant - I would of have an abortion. Not only would you carry around a baby which is part of someone so vile and disgusting, to give birth to it.... to keep it? If it looked like him? No way. That child would never be loved like it should if it were made with love and concent. Yes, it's innocent, but its the genes and blood of of a disgusting human being.
I don't care what you think of my answer, it's completely honest from me. I'm married now and I'm about to have my first child. I love my husband to bits and I love my unborn child. But I wouldn't love a child I had kept which was part of that man. It makes me feel sick to even think of it.

This is exactly why I don't agree with the abortion laws.
I can't say what I would do in that situation, for me I think it would be adoption, but I firmly believe that it needs to be the woman's choice....period!!
Let's say that the woman has a health problem that could prove fatal for her if she carries a baby, then she is impregnated through a rape. The government says no abortion, no exceptions.

no I dont think she should, because the story of how they were concieved would hurt the child & the mother would probably always hold a bit of resentment or anger at the incedint,
what I think would be best is to place the baby for adoption & dont tell the adopters. The baby would have the best start possible. But if the mom can be strong enough to keep it, Never tell the baby, you dont need to damage them or make them feel guilty or evil. It would be your burden to bear, telling the baby would be dumping your burden onto them, bear that burden so they dont get hurt

She shouldn't kill an innocent baby, regardless of the circumstances of the child's conception. Would anyone kill a one-year-old child because her daddy was a rapist? If not, why do people believe it is okay to sentence the child in the womb to death because of the crime of her father?
Furthermore, abortion only compounds the grief and trauma experienced by a woman who has been raped. It causes HER to become the aggressor, hurting another innocent person the way she was hurt.

that depends on how you mean that question.
I mean, should you have the baby, and give it up for adoption if the girl doesn't want to keep it? yes, I was adopted as a baby and i thank GOD for that. if she adopts it out then she will not have to be reminded about her pain every day.
I DO NOT think a girl should have an abortion. even if she doesn't want the baby... there is always someone out there to adopt.
No its not the girls fault, but she should think about it... life happens for a reason.. and that baby does not deserve to be killed for some jerks actions

Heck No, she shouldn't keep the baby! Why should the baby have to pay by not having parents that love and want it? Put it up for adoption or abort.

It's very much personal choice. No-one on this planet should be so sanctimonious that they would force a girl who has just been raped to carry the child that is the product of the rape against her will.

A child's life is in the balance here. To my thinking there are 2 strong choices: one, keep the child, love it, and raise it. two, give the child a good home with loving adoptive parents. Abortion (and I am against it in principle anyway) only compounds the crime into rape and murder. Guilt in rape is a large enough issue to deal without compounding it with murder. A person does not need to deal with one tragedy in life not in their control much less another tragedy that is in their control.

I think you should have anabortion, as bringing a child into this world with out love is not right what kind of a future would the child have and it would only be a reminder to you of the rape.
