A step brother/sister is actually not any blood kin to you. A half brother/sister means that you share one parent and have a different other one. So your brother is your half/brother......
my kids consider themselves full brother/sister anyway. They are being raised together, and the topic of half siblings never comes up. The important thing is the love that you share.

No, that is considered a half sibling. Like a half brother or half sister. A step is when your Mom marries a man who has children that are not related to you at all. They are step brothers and step sisters. Look at Cinderella. The Ugly step-sisters were not related at all.

actually it is a brother PERIOD! Both of you are whole people and there is no HALF. Neither of you like to be "stepped" on so there is NO Step. In my opion
Now when u talk to others yes you are half because you share one parent the same. Step would be if neither parents were the same.

when you have the same moms , you are brothers not step brothers, half brothers. when you have the same dads, it is step brothers. the part that matters is the moms.

I had a Step Dad till is became i became 7,and he previous whilst i became 17,,,, he's or became and continually would be my Dad , and he had to little ones and that i call them my brother and sister,, H&S
