Especially when they are brothers in arms in the gulf and such places.Seems like they only want to use and abuse the UK when they need us,and let in the rest of the world. In some cases the very same people who cause terrible problems.

The Immigration Laws Suck Here,You Are Right I Would Rather Cousins Come Than Alot Of The Ones That Do Come,Really We Don't Need Anymore People There Are 12-13 million Probably More Illegals here Now Plus What Sneaks In Every Day,But UK Citizens Can Apply Or Come Illegal Like Most Of The Others Only Now I Suggest Going The Legal Route because We Are Fixing To Do Some Serious House Cleaning The Politicians Can Not Ignore Our Laws For A Couple Of Votes They Will Not Have A Political Future,Watch And See Americans Are Fed Up With The Illegal Alien Problem

The government has a quota for all immigrants ... at present the quota for UK citizens is filled, as it is for people from for example the Philippines, so new applicants are put on a waiting list ... I don't know why, I don't know how many (I think it's about 50.000 for UK), but I know darn well that the quota for Mexicans has been met many times over ... now if 12 million Brits would come over illegally and plonk themselves down, maybe you'd have a hope .. unfortunately most British people are more law abiding than that though ... so it's a matter of waiting I suppose ... :(

They do let citizens from the UK come here to live. They have to fill out the proper paper work like everyone else though. I am willing to bet however that a UK citizen does not get the scutiny that other nations would.

I had an uncle who was British, I know a lady who is also British and have met many from Scotland and Ireland, so they are allowed to come to America and live.

no country will let in that many outsiders will they, if uk students go there and fill up gov sections what will be left with americans? america is not the ecception. i live in the uk but hold a greencard also. US and UK might be brothers in arms but thats just the govermentt, youd be suprised what the british public really think of america so i dont know why allot of british people would want to go there anyway.

What are you talking about? Our new plant manager is fresh off the boat from the UK. She can't even speak American yet. She heard some guys talking about fags and reminded them there was no smoking! Not only did she come from the UK, but she got a job that pays more than most Americans get. Last I checked, we love England.

I have to be honest, i've never met an illegal alien from the UK (that I know of at least).

I would have no problem with allowing more people from the UK the immigrate here.

Maybe you don't have the skills they are looking for! You can live their but they want you to be productive and so have to get a job first; if you can't get an employer to support your application for a visa perhaps some more education could help.

Because our laws are uniform and it's doesn't matter where you come from. illegal is illegal whether from Mexico or UK doesn't matter.

Perhaps you didn't know it's illegal for you to enter that way in the UK too?
