If there is more than 6 inches of water... I'll fish it!!... lol.. but usually I fish private lakes and ponds with my kids.... the Cape Fear River for catfish and stripper.... the Pee Dee River near Bluette Falls and Bluette Lake.... Lake Tillery... Lake Norman... Sharron Harris Lake.... Jordan Lake.... John Kerr Lake... Falls of the Neuse.... High Rock Lake... Lake Wiley.... Santee Cooper.... all the lakes on Fort Bragg... and the list goes on and on.... I try to go fishing at least three times a week.... provided Uncle Sam doesn't have me too busy.
I chase Largemouth Bass.... smallmouth Bass... Black Bass.... Spotted Bass.... Stripers... Crappie... Brim... Redrum... Catfish ... and Bluegill.

This is going to gross out a ton a people, but I fish in the Mississippi. Mainly for whatever I catch. I like fishing in the river because it's possible to catch such a variety of fish. I've been fishing since I was in my car seat and my dad used to set me on the bank while he fished. lol. You can always speculate what type of fish you've hooked into, but the real test is when you actually land it. It's always fun. Despite all the bad publicity eating fish from the river gets, I've been doing it since I was small and I'm actually one of the healthiest people I know. No allergies, no food sensitivies, no defects. Sanitary conditions are terrible for people. I'm glad I ate garden dirt and box-elder bugs as a child. I never get sick. I'm now on my way to becoming a biochemist and the chemicals in lab hurt me way more than any fish I've eaten in my lifetime I'm sure.

I like to catch walleyes, because they are big and they taste good too. I go up to Minnesota to go fishing every year. On the Eagles Nest lakes there are all kinds of fish. Bass, bluegills, perch, suckers, crapies, northern, and probably others that I don't fish for.

I like to go to Castaic Lake and Lake Casitas. Try to fish for largemouth bass, but sometimes you catch croppie and blue gil. From what I've heard, some of the biggest bass have been caught from these lakes.
