sure - its a toy he carries with him all the time. it's honing his natural hunting skills - he doesn't realize it's connected to him when he does that, he's just after something that's moving in his peripheral vision. enjoy the show, he won't always be so gullible.

Of course! That's just what kittens do. You might want to get him some toys or another kitten for a playmate, though. I always think it's better to have at least two cats, especially if you work and he's left home alone a lot. They are much happier with a companion.

chasing tails are a very normal part of being a kitten.

grown cats do it too.

my parents cat is very old, and will only do it if she thinks you are not watching it. (it likes to do it in the bathtub behind the shower curtain.)

yes, my 5 weeks old kittens do the same thing, like they just descovered it, and then they chase mommys tail when they get tired of chasing there own.

it is perfectly fine if he chases his tail. I have a cat that chases his tail also. he is just playing and having a bit of fun = )

all kittens chase their tail..I would recommed getting your little baby some play toys to keep him occupied
