OMG...i have the same prob, well used to! First go get about one or two inches cut of the bottom of your hair...tell your stylist to do layers, that'll "thin it out" a lot!! Then, don't wash your hair everyday, that dries it out if you have coarse hair, every other day is good but condition it GOOD to keep it from frizzing. Use a good "straight and sleek" conditioner. Blow dry it and add a drop of frizzeaze (john frieda) to your palms and run it through your hair with your fingers. Then use a CERAMIC straightner and straighten it piece by piece. Voila!!! : )
DOIN A PERM IS A BAD IDEA, IT FRIES YOUR HAIR...IF YOU DO DECIDE IT'S FOR YOU, IT WON'T BE MORE THAN $80...PROB ONLY 30 OR 40!

Don't wash your hair either at all or so much, you need the natural oils to condition and protect your hair. Shampoo strips these and damages your hair scales in the process, making them stick up and appear 'frizzy'.
Rinsing daily in cold water makes these scales lay flat, reflecting light and producing 'shine'.
There is a period of a between a couple of weeks to a bit longer where your hair (really your scalp) adjusts; after this period your hair will look a lot more tamed, and be clean/soft/shiny.
If you can't NOT wash your hair with any products, then just wash with conditioner each time. It'll remove any buildup from your hair whilest making it look and feel AMAZING. Trust me, just try it as an experiment for a couple of days if you're curious but are unsure whether to believe it

I have the same problem!
The first thing you need to do is get a haircut that thins your hair down your hair (this will probably cost a bit as you need to go to a decent hairdresser - but the inital outlay will be worth it in the long run - i promise!)
Then the 2nd most important thing is to make sure you use conditioner when you wash it and ensure you deep condition every 10 days - this will keep it in top condition.
Buy yourself some hair straighteners - preferably with big plates if you have a lot of hair - if you buy normal thin ones you will be there for hours.
"frizzeze" serum is excellent - use it on your hair when it is damp and it will make a huge difference

Hi, the only solution for this is a really good hair staightener that goes up to 210 degrees, thats if you havent already tried hair straighteners. I have this problem if i dont straighten my hair and before i descoverd hair straigteners nothing worked i tried frizz ease, dear shampoo to make your hair straight when all i needed was a pair of hair straighteners . with a high heat any lower than 160 doesnt straighten or make my hair sleek, which i presume would be the same for your hair. i use kodo, but there are others in shops at the moment that have high heat vidal sasson are as good a professional ones and they arent to expensive, But i highly recommend using a heat protection spray and leave in conditioner.each time you dry and straighten your hair. If you dont want to use straighteners there is a good straightening cream made by sunslik its call Flat iron Effect, its good for makin sleek and smooth but it doesnt last long

This is what i asked myself a year ago....the answer is simple. Wash it really good with aussie products ( try the miost or dry/damaged shampoos &conditioners) and blowdry it right after your shower (or bath). After it's dry, try some anti-frizz sprays (I had to try out a lot befor I found one I liked, so try around because our hair might not be the same type) and also try some Got 2 B Shine sray ( it really looks nice and sleek afterwards!) then use a flat iron to straiten it. I like the conair flat iron and blow dryer but there are other types you might like better. Its a garentee this will work!

There is a product called Biosilk and it works great. You can apply it and then if you want you can press your hair to make it straighter.
There is also a more permanant process, done at the beauty shop, which may be a little costly but it lasts quite a while.

I have the same problem and I use Umberto Gianinni (sp?) shampoo and conditioner. It really helps if you straighten your hair afterwards and it feels really soft, smooth and straight! It doesn't cost too much (about £5 per bottle) and seems to last forever as it lathers with just a teeny amount!
Hope I helped :D

I use Pantene Smooth and Sleek shampoo and conditioner, I then blow dry my hair using a brush, brushing in a downwards direction and drying my hair sort of following the brush down, never blow dry upwards, it'll make it more frizzy! If I'm going out I will use Nicky Clarkes straightening spray and Nicky Clarke ceramic straighteners, they work very well together. hope that's helped. :)

Here's some steps you could try!
#1- Go to Amazon.com, look up Farouk Chi Straightener. It lasts several days, your hair is sleek, shiny, wavy, gorgeous
#2- Go to your local drugstore/market and look in the hair care prodcuts for anti-frizz and mousse. Try those too, those work a lot! Good luck!
