Jesus is not the path... but the destination !! Any path you take.... will take you to only 1 destination : GOD

Have you noticed that Jewish males seem to prefer the goateed avatars? I wonder why that is.

I'm an atheist today, so, no, I don't believe that Jesus is a way to salvation.

However, I was once a Christian, and my father was a Christian minister, so I know the religion fairly well. What Jesus said in the Bible is generally considered to be necessarily true, sacredly true, and in order to be a Christian you can't believe at the same time that Jesus was a liar.

So, with that in mind, read John 14:1-6. When Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" he was saying that he was the only way to salvation. In other words, nobody who thinks differently can be a Christian.

So choose whether you will be a Christian, a believer in Christ, or whether you will deny your faith and your savior in order to be polite to the Jews. You can do neither: for example, you can become an atheist as I did.

BUT YOU CAN'T DO BOTH!

Well, the term "salvation" is pretty much copyrighted by the Christians, but your original, more generic term, "path to God" is not exclusive to Christians nor necessarily through what you would recognize as Jesus. Although arguably Jesus was/is an entity that is in fact a portal to God, whether or not in any recognizable form.

My own take on this is that Jesus is/was a great magician, and was enlightened, but that subsequent followers had their own reasons for making him an exclusive thing. They wanted him to be the only way so they could sell the only tickets.

I don't believe there is any one path to God, nor that people mean the same thing by "God", nor that any salvation is needed beyond saving the planet itself from the damage unwittingly caused by the collective action of human beings. To many people are thinking that it's unimportant whether the earth itself is ruined, because they'll be living eternally in a heavenly mansion, with or without 72 houris in attendence. Perhaps a "plan B" should be considered, especially for those who have children and grandchildren?

It is by far the easiest path. God tells us in Romans 1, that He makes Himself known to all mankind so that man is without excuse. That says there are other ways, but the other path may not be as forgiving as Jesus. Choose Jesus-its a sure thing-the other way is not.

The only way to eternal life is through Jesus Christ. Jesus and God are part of the Trinity, along with the Holy Spirit. God Bless.

Yes. Jesus said that no man can come to the father except by me. Jesus is the truth and the light. If we believe in Jesus He will lead us to God.

What about you? Do you think Jesus is the only path to God?

I am not a Christian. I love and respect Jesus. I have read Bible many times over and especially love 'Sermon On the Mount' He brought a revolution in his time. His concern for the meek, for the poor and downtrodden and his teaching on love is unparalleled. Yet I am not too sure about way to God. There are infinite ways and teachings over thousands of years. It is one own choice.

jesus isn't the only path to god, jesus was just a message from god to say that god is always there when the people lost faith in god and to save the people from sin. other ways to god is prayer, church etc.

It says only thru Him you will reach the Father?? Salvation is promised in no other religion like it is thru Jesus, the only Name that saves mankind.
