I have had this very dear friend for 6years . She is a lesbian and I am a man and I fell in love with her. We hang out often and always have a great time. Over the last 6 months I have fallen deeply in love with her. I have tried and tried to tell her but she just laughs and hugs me and thinks I am joking but I am serious.I am at my wits end and am loosing sleep over this. She comes to my house and swims topless and just acts like she is one of the guys. She is not butch looking. She is dropdead gorgeous. How can I get her to come around or is this a lost cause. I stopped seeing my g/f because I fell in love with my lesbian friend and stopped loving my g/f. I am lost. I know if she would just give me a chance we could make it work.Help me please .

Hard luck, we Irish have a saying ' Build a bridge and get over it'. Moving on, is she single? Send her over to me for a little holiday!

hi lad

you are in tough situation ,i accept.but lets see the lighter side of it.u said you and the lesbian girl were friends for 6 years! that gud to hear.and u say that u are loving her recently so very much than ur g/f so why cant u talk with ur lesbian girl abt ur true love to her.if u think she willavoid u by saying"u are kidding right!" then take her to a isolated place or jus drive her out of the city and have ur conversation abt love.tell her deeply how much u love and how much u expect in return for that(talk abt her lesbian character frankly) tell her u dont like such nasty stuffs to stick with her as long as u are his b/f.promise her in every way u can to soothe her heart.i think u try this and tell the result.try to present her something like flowers or box of chocolatesor if u are able then u can gift her a ring.make the situation a proposing one.it will surely melt her heart.

remember u have to talk frankly abt her bad character to her or else u may not get what u want.dont store up inside u the secrets.may the gud cupid god bless u.

I sorry but she is a lesbian there is nothing that you can do. You can tell her how you feel but you wont be able to go out with her. She is not into guys and you cant change that.

I guess the best thing is to do is talk to her and move on, you may even what to break things off for a lil bit.

She doesnt feel the sameway about you and your a guy she wont give you a chance. If you push at her to hard you may lose her friendship.

I would like to say Sweety, That is a lost cause... I am a Lesbian woman and I have been with my wife for 10 years. We have a son together I had artificial insemination and my best friend is a man.I am so sorry to say the reason why she is laughing is because she thinks you are joking if you want to remain her friend do not persue it. Because if she wanted to be with a man she would be with a man. RESPECT her decision and find someone you can share that love with. I have been friends with my best friend for 18 years he is married now and I love him to death. He came to me years ago and said the same thing but I told him we are better off as friends and he respected my choice. he just got married last year and had a child and we are both happy with each other he said he didnt want to mess up our friendship and things has been great from then on. So RESPECT for friends choice and find someone who can love yopu for you

Dude, someone needs to slap you silly. Life isn't Chasing Amy.

First, even if she wasn't a lesbian, you are on the "friend" list. Girls know within the first 5 minutes how far they will go with you, and will probably do so at the earliest possible time. If you've been crossed off the "I'll sleep with him" list, it's very very difficult, and time consuming to get back on it.

Stop wasting your time. Get thee to Leykis 101.

Dude, lost cause on this one. I feel for you. Unrequited love is difficult. Set boundaries on your relationship with her. No more swimming topless. Find a new hobby and get your mind off this girl.

You should realize that you can not change a persons sexual orientation. Have a serious talk with her but be prepared to hear that she does not see you as a possible sexual partner.

Try asking her why she doesn't find men sexually attractive, Maybe she could be bisexual, Could you deal with that? Could you share a woman with another woman? Why couldn't you love more than one woman, Did you think maybe you your lesbian and your girlfriend could be together. Does your girlfriend know why you quit seeing her?. A explanation is owed.
