Yes, one can. There is no question on the application form about arrests or convictions, and no law that limits the foreign travel of a convicted felon, unless it has been so ordered by a court.

Yep. It merely verifies who you are. Not what you have done. There is no background check, nor criminal information required to obtain a passport. Technically, a serial murderer with a life-long prison sentence can get a passport.

Nope, and not only cant you get a passport you cant get a gun permit or a good job, or enroll in MANY tech schools for training.
