The Church of England has various branches ranging from high to low. In the high church, which includes Anglicans, the ministers are called father. Incidentally, the Orthodox churches also has a similar term, a derivative of patriarch.

Yep, they're sometimes called 'father' too. The Church of England is a "spin-off" of the older Catholic church and retains much of the traditions.

The COE is about as catholic as you can get. They broke off from Catholicism when the Pope would not allow the King (Henry I think) to get a divorce. They pretty much kept it the same. The head of the COE is the Queen, they do not have a pope. They do have an Arch-Bishop to run the affairs of the church, but he receives his orders from the reigning monarch.

American Episcopalian priests are called "Father," and the Episcopal Church is derived from the C of E, so I would assume the same is true of them.

the church of England or Anglican church does not have priests but vicars and no they are not called father
