Ok, I go to church regulary with my daughter, my husband believes in God but isn't growing, this is tough for me. I keep stumbling and falling making mistakes, not reading my bible enough or sometimes my prayer life isn't what it should be, there is also times I bust my self cussing when I now least disire to. My shurch congreation is very small and isn't growing much and I was doing displeship till the person leading me can't meet at all in months, should I stay at that church or look onward at other churches and how do I keep stregthened when I am weak, you know when you feel so unworthy or so back slidden or alone and just can't get it together, I love Jesus and want to live life as he wants me too, and somehow help my husband growning too.

I don't take my faith in God as a joke or lightly and I do believe that God created us because he loves us. I am baptist. I only want ppl to answer that are serious believers of Jesus Christ.

Try Buddhism.
It requires less guilt, and can be conveniently done at home.

You should give you life to Christ. I don't know if you've already have or not but if you haven't you really should. We all fall short of the glory of god, it's totally human. Asking god for forgiveness is the 1st thing you should do when you fall short. Staying with god can be very hard and this happens to me all the time so your not alone. My faith wasn't growing at all a year ago but then I switched Churches and I've been pretty consistent. Go to a couple of different Churches for some sermons and pick the one you like the most. Also (if you have time) mission trips are always good and when you some back you feel closer to god then you ever felt before. Praying always helps. Pray ever night before you go to bed. Ask god to bring you closer to him, and pray for giddiness along your journey of life. No one said that being a Christan was going to be easy so good luck.
No matter what, god loves you very very very much.

first you need to learn how to use spell check.
God will not reserve a seat for you or your family in the Kingdom of Heaven if you cannot spell. Jesus and Mary both HATE bad spellers...God the Father can tolerate them, but only for so long (that's what He made Purgatory for).
Now for the "back-slidden", well you got me there. I say have another vodka gimlet with a lime twist and you won't have to worry about back-slidden, front-slidden or even the dreaded side-slidden.
Seriously. Lighten up. It's not all about God and Jesus all the time--do you think God created this wonderful world JUST for you to torment yourself 24x7? Come ON--go on vacation, take a walk, whistle at a cute guy with his shirt off. Our Creator is in the details of the world he has created for us--look around and enjoy it.

Dear sister in Christ.
We will all still be stumbling and falling and making mistakes up until our very last breath here on this earth.
I know you want to stay on the narrow path, I can "hear" it in your question. It sounds as if your "helper" has other items to attend to at the moment, maybe you could help them in whatever has their attention at the moment?
Sometimes , we grow best when we step outside the box that we have defined for ourselves. You may find the next step in growth is just waiting for you by helping the one who has been helping you.
No matter what, keep reading your own bible and praying about what you have read. Never be afraid to retell your children the stories of the bible that they are old enough to understand.
Just teaching a child, helps your own understaning as well.
As for your husband, the bible is very clear on a womans role, when the husband will not submit himself to the role that God has laid out for him. You are to continue living for God and your husband will come around because he sees you becoming stronger and stronger in Gods love.
Sounds very much like this is the work that God has laid out for you to do right now. Good Luck, God has put huge trust in you and he knows that you will be able to do it as long as you lean on God to help you through.

You are so right. Bible study classes are the best way to grow in faith is Jesus.
Could you keep attending your church, but attend a Bible Study that is open to anyone?

Plz read Ephesians 6:11-12. Be aware that the devil is bringing out his big guns to shoot at you to keep you down and discouraged. And plz keep in mind that through Jesus, that you will have 'bigger' guns to shoot back. I am constantly rebuking the devil when he starts on me. Plus I am aware that God has assigned to you 'ministering angels' to help you along. When these satanic attacks keep coming at me,( satanic attacks come in the way of negative thoughts) even though I rebuke them time after time, I start fussing at my ministering angels to get off their duff and get to work. You know, that works wonders.
Best wishes to you and God bless.
