He's a pathetic liar. Everytime he starts to lie, he says 'Um.' Sucker.

By his actions and the way he looks while telling me this lie. Plus I can hear it in his voice. If you know your mate rather well, you can tell when he or she isn't being truthful. I guess it helps that my boyfriend is a horrible lier. :P

The pupils of his eyes will tell you! If his pupils are large and consistent he is telling the truth if his pupils are small he is lieing!

some of them are so good at it that you can't tell, but usually if they avoid eye contact, blink when they're saying something,or you see the pupils dialate..they ARE lying.

ask him/her to answer ur question looking in ur eyes............ if he truly loves u wont be able to lie............ or wont be able to look in ur eyes
