It is impossible to remember and thus repent all of ones sins. How many people really do sit in the confession box telling of all the times you lied about your wife being fat or how you dishonored your mother by spending that evening with a hooker. What about those times when you stole ideas and claimed them as your own, lying once again. When you slammed your finger in the door and cried "Jesus f--ing Christ". Do you really remember all these, then remember to repent? I am sure that as a child you didn't, so doesn't this mean you are destined for hell? To burn forever because you forgot to confess on lousy sin?

What about infants that die in birth or are aborted? They never had a chance to be born again or repent of original sin, so do you believe they are going to hell?
How about tribes in Africa who have never heard of the Gospel, and thus have not repented. Do you believe that they are going to hell? I think that those who neglected the mission to "preach to all nations" are the ones responsible for their souls, not them: they are ignorant of the Gospel and do not know any better.
Love is the one universal characteristic that people from all backgrounds can understand. No matter what your religion, you should lead a life of love. Of course, Jesus is the fulness of love, as He is the fulfillment of the Law. But those who have never heard of Jesus (this is very different from not accepting Jesus) can still go to heaven, provided they lived with love to the best their situation in life would allow.

In the Bible it says you have Jesus take away your sins by praying. But, When the Tribulation comes- thats when Jesus and God Take all the Saints and leaves all the Bad people and unsure people. there is 7 years between that and Judgment day. Until then you have time to change your thoughts.

Since there is neither a "God" nor a "Heaven", the question does not really have much substance.
And since the concept of "sin" is a human invention, created to control people, there is no need to worry. For independent and non-religious people there are no sins, nothing to repent, and no reason to be afraid of some non-existent supreme being.
However, those who chose to believe in all the hocus-pocus of organised religion will have to cope with the silly strings they have themselves attached to.

You have to ask for forgiveness but the Great thing about Jesus being so loving is if you die without repenting but accepted Jesus as your savior and that his death on the cross forgave you of your sins then you can go to heaven as well.

Yes, you have to repent and 'turn away' from whatever you were doing wrong in the first place, at least try...He knows how weak we are sometimes and still forgives but repent, repent, repent!! There is no way we can ever live up to God's expectations, but he grants us grace. For those who are here for the tribuation..it will be a bit harder to make it to heaven...then, it by works, even if you have to die for your beliefs.

If you really believe there is such a thing as heaven or hell, then the repentin' you need to do is more along the lines of getting a clue. the bible - like you - is only an illusion that wasn't here yesterday and won't be here tomorrow. So get on out there and stop being paranoid.

Unless you are ready to pay for it in Hell!
The Holy Bible is telling us not to do the same mistakes over and over again. Repeatedly suggest a better life without sins.

nothing personal here, but I'm not too sure about the whole confession/repent thing.Think about it.You go into a box with a priest (or nearest spiritual equivilant) confess your sins and that's it you're off to heaven when you die.I've committed my fair share of sins, and I prefer the idea of atonement through hard work, the idea that going into a box,or just saying I'm sorry to god is just too much like a cop out..my apologies if I offend.
