When you sweat that is your body just cooling you off, I don't know if it can help you lose weight though.

You would lose weight via dehydrating yourself. You would lose water weight and gain it right back within a day. Your pants won't fit any better. Want to lose weight? Start and exercise regimen, don't starve yourself, and keep yourself hydrated. Not eating after 7pm won't help. As long as you burn more calories in a day than you consume, it doesn't matter when you stop eating. If you burn an extra 250 calories a day and cut 250 calories a day out of your diet, you'll lose a pound a week. Think I'm wrong? There are 3500 calories in a pound of body fat. Do the math.

Well yes and no. I mean, you're going to lose weight, but it'll be water weight. And you'll just be thirstier throughout the day and subconsciously drink back anything you lost. I believe that wearing a sweater while you ride your bike will only increase the chance of you dehydrating, and passing out. Coincidentally, passing out may also help you lose weight when you fall and cut yourself... unfortunately, this blood lost will be replaced by the doctors when your in the ER (so much like sweating, the bleeding will be a temporary weight loss)

no dear by sweating you would just be dehydrating yourself and as doc rams says fat has to be burned
if you would like to lose some weight then I could help you a little bit:
-don't eat after 7 in the evening
-try to eat once every 2 hours but just a little bit
-don't eat on the same day:bread, spaghetti,or boiled potatoes
-no sweet or junk food
-do a lot of sport
I hope this could be helpfull for you too 'cause it was helpfull for many persons, including me(cheers!)

Yes. Wrestlers do this all the time to stay in a specific weight category at weigh-in time.... Not a healthy way to loose weight. and yes- you would severely dehydrate yourself.
