i am a christian and i have fallen away from gods good graces...i have been having sex out of marriage,i smoke ciggerettes, i hardly pray anymore, my language has gotten rediculous. i am analyzing myself and i have notice that i have not grown in my spiritual life i am backsliding...my worst fear is him telling me that i cant come in....do you think that its possible for me to get forgiveness from him? and for me to get back to the way that i was in my spiritual life?

Maybe the fact that you realize this what can bring you back. He forgives when we truly repent and change.

first off does Jesus actually say you have to pray every day when he was asked how to pray? all he says is when you do,. do it on your own so other people can't see you.
prayer has to be sincere and from the heart, it's not just reciting words. this is what makes people who say or think they know better becayse they go to church are hypocrytes: all they're doing is participating in a ritual and acting proud of it. if you really want to feel better spiritually why not find some charity to committ to? a soup kitchen, homeless shelter, a helpline or volunteer as a literacy coordinatator? actually helping people with a pure heart whether you get anything back or anyone knowing about it is worth more than paying weekly lip service and will make you feel good about yourself. peace and good luck! you can stop swearing if you want but theres no commandment outside of using the lords name in vain ( i always took that to mean making promises your not going to keep as in " I swear to God, etc, etc) and can be healthy human venting. change takes time, maybe you need to give yourself a break and change one bit at a time and doing for others. peace!If your married knock it off and get yourself checked and DONT DO IT AGAIN. If your single, practice safe sex and just enjoy. dont let a bunch of repressed, ignorant conservatives keep you from enjoying lie. be honest with women always and youll be fine.

Jesus died ONCE for ALL sins. Repenting is turning around and going in another direction. Instead of walking away from Jesus...walk towards him. It is all a matter of heart and how your relate to God.
A relationship with God through Christ has nothing to do with what you do or do not do. Don't let anyone, including yourself, put a burden on you because you are not perfect. No person within themselves is or will ever be perfect. It is Christs perfection that the Father sees.

The help is within you. its just simple thing u need to do. Spiritual life of a person is the most private part of any one life Coz, its the relation between one person and his spiritual guiding faith and there is no one in between. if u feel that you have fallen out of ur spiritual life, it was ur own decision so, just get back to ur old routine and bee good to your own and self motivation is the best remady for evrything.

Stop smoking, it's bad for you. Focus on what you want to be and take steps to be the better you. I am not 'religious' but since you are christian I know this of what that faith is supposed to be about...it is not only possible for you to have forgiveness, it will be given to you if only you ask him and mean it. Take care and follow the path that is true for you!

You know there are things we all mess up in but when your a "Christian" the devil does everything in his power to seperat you from God there's strong people and theres weak people You know that God forgives you ones your save..
If anybody should know this it should be you ask for forgiveness but mean it and start doing the right thing

Do what you feel in your heart..it is possible to get forgiveness for your sins..all you have to do is ask ..and be serious about it and do not go back to doing the same things...if you are sincere--you will be forgiven... and then stay on the right path and you will be ok..Good luck i will pray for you...

You have been forgiven already. Christ died for all sins past present and to come. So take that forgiveness and try to do better.

He will always forgive you. But it seems you love sin more than Him. Make a decision. If its for God ask Him for the strength to go through with it.

Sounds to me like you are going straight to hell. Although I bet if you were to repent for your sins all would be forgiven and you might just get back on the good side of the lord.
