Yes. It was Dutch treat. But you need to talk to her about what happened, because she may not be interested in a more than friendship relationship. When I go on a first date with someone, I usually offer to go Dutch. In a good relationship, the same person does not pay every time.

I feel that if a girl pays for the outing, and doesn't let the guy know ahead of time, then it can be awkward for the dude. The guy had intentions of paying, for he did ask this girl out. It was her choice to pay for the outing. But she needs to tell him she wants to treat him to the date. So yes.I feel it is still considered a date. The guy may feel uncomfortable with the girl paying though. Don't worry,it was still a date. Next time let her know, that you are always going to pay for the outing since you did ask her out. But let her also know how much you were appreciative of her for paying for the movie. You don't want this girl to think you were taking advantage of her. Good luck!!

It can still be classified as a date even if she pays for the tickets. Just maybe she didnt want to feel obligated if things dont work out or something. If your curiousity is dying to know why she paid you could always ask her. Girls like it when guys are eager to listen to them. Not only that but maybe she was raised to pay for herself and be independent. Heh however if a guy wanted to pay for things for me I would let him. Very chivalrous of you. Good luck in your dating.

It's a date, but ask how she feels about paying or not paying. I am Old School and pay for everything, my fiancee recently got vefry upset and insisted she be allowed to pay for somethings.
I gave in, because I know I will do what I want, when I want and ignore how she feels, anytime I want...to sleep on the couch.

Of course its a date. Not all guys have the money to pay and even the fact that you tried to pay probably made her feel good. Plus- if a girl pays its normaly because shes used to paying with her bffs :P or shes standing up for equal rights. Even if she payed this time doesnt mean you should always let her pay... next time she reaches for her purse to pay just say " I got this one"
Good Luck !!!

Yes!! It is modern times and going dutch helps to relieve the mind of the ladies that you are expecting something in return. It takes off the pressure.Enjoy the date, have no agenda, let whatever happens or doesn't unfold naturally. Peace.

Yes it waz a date.If the both of u went out and had a wonderful time.Men don't always have to pay for everything.most men think that for some reason but i dont kno y.Gurlz like to pay for things sometimes.Itz not like we r tryna be the man of the relationship we would jus not think that only the man is allowed to take care of us.I love a man who is not afraid to let me take him out on date and i pay and he can maybe pay next time we go out.DONT WORRY YOURSELF IM SURE SHE NOT,IF U DONT MAKE A BIG ISSUE OUT OF IT IM SURE IT WILL BE ANOTHER DATE BETWEEN THE BOTH OF U.Tell me how it turns out though!!!!
