how is there light in heaven and hell,is light necessary

we see things by light reflection through the eyes,logically light is needed to percieve things visually.is light tangerble in heaven or hell or are these places in the mind only ,much like in a dream were we percieve with light created by the mind(this light being illusion)

Even things on the spiritual plane have energy and light, even if it's just simulated light.
