My cat is about 6 months old and she has not been spayed yet. Yesterday she started biting my blanket, pawing at it with her front paws and sticking her butt in the air at the same time. And all last night she kept waking me by sitting next to my face and rubbing her face on mine. I have never seen her do this before. Is she going into heat for the first time or is she just acting crazy?

Also I noticed that she is licking herself alot and seems to be breathing faster then normal, and acting like she's anxious or something.

Sounds like she is in heat. If you don't want kittens keep her inside, and get her fixed asap. I have a cat she is heat right now too. It is soooo cute to watch but sometimes anoying so just love her and it will pass in about a week or so, no more than 2 weeks. Have fun its really funny to watch.

sounds like she is in heat.
cats can be spayed in heat. but it's safer to wait until it will be over in a couple of weeks. then get her spayed.
meanwhile keep a close eye on her don't let her out of the house and make sure she can't run away.

shes just acting crazy. my two boy cats that have already been spayed do that all of the time.

Yes!! get her fixed as some female cats start to mrk with urine while they are in heat....One of my cats did that, also they get quite noisy!

no my cat has been sprayed and dose that all the tim achully 2 of my cats do that 1s a girl and 1s a boy trust me i no wat im talkin bout
