If you believe that Hell exists, but you are sure that you're going to Heaven, does that make your belief in Hell wrong?
If you are a Christian, and you believe that witchcraft is real, that doesn't make your belief in the fact that it exists WRONG. It means that you acknowledge the fact that there IS such a thing as witchcraft, and there's more to the supernatural than God, as it were. As long as you don't practice witchcraft, or paganism, I don't see as how it could be viewed as WRONG through God's, or anyone else's, eyes.
Halloween actually originated from satanism, not paganism. On Samhain, Oktober 31st, the druids would roam from castle to castle, and surf to surf, in demand of a human sacrifice. That would be the treat. If they did not receive their "treat", however, they would play the trick. The trick would be that they would paint a hexagram on the front door of the house in blood, and that someone that night would die of fear. If, however, the druids received what they wanted, they would leave a jack-o-lantern burning of human fat to show their appreciation.

I would just like to say to pepperkittyn that that explanation of Halloween is blatantly FALSE. Samhain (October 31st) is a day when it was believed that the veil between the world of the living and the world of the dead was at its thinnest, and people would put on masks to essentially "hide" themselves from the various things that would cross the veil on that day and night.
As for Witchcraft, yes it is real. A literal translation of the word "witchcraft" means "The Craft of the Wise" and has been around for a long long time. Witchcraft is the ability to use natural energies, events, and various things to your advantage (herbalism and homeopathic medicine and natural healing, midwifery, etc). And if Christians don't believe in Halloween and don't practise Halloween, then why do they have All Saints' Day (November 1st) to 'counteract' the effects of Halloween? All Saints' Day didn't exist until after Samhain (halloween) was brought to the public eye.
And if it's evil to believe in Witchcraft, then it's evil to believe in any and all forms of alternative medicine.

Christians believe that witchcraft is the work of the devil: it is not God-centered, and is thus misleading a soul to believe in a power other than the One, True God. It would be to the devil's advantage, then, to distract souls in such a way. The sin, therefore, is not believing in witchcraft, but practicing it.

Christians (and other True Believersâ¢) will label anything 'witchcraft' which is contrary to their teachings, or dares to challenge the status quo of their faith.
Heck, some Christians even consider Catholicism 'witchcraft'- which I find rather bizarre, but that is their problem, not mine.
If you bother to scratch the surface and explore the subject of 'witchcraft' more deeply, you will find that the source of all the fear, hate and condemnation of it stems from the fact that it empowers women. Women are second class citizens in many religious faiths, and anything that is seen to give them any kind of power, authority, or knowledge is considered 'evil'. Because of this attitude, many women have died at the hands of those who wished to punish them for accumulating knowledge and the wisdom that results from that knowledge, or who envied the genuine internal power-within that such knowledge gave them. Power-over is always defeated by power-within, but that did not stop those who preferred to exert power over from slaying those who did not bow to their beliefs. Midwives, healers, herbalists, women who could speak to the spirits- all of them were labeled 'witches' and punished severely.
Today's Witches honor those who have died for being women who knew too much, or who dared to express their own inner power, or disdained the male-dominated faiths, and seek to learn and grow outside those bounds. We hold our Power within, and cherish it.
Knowledge is power. Knowledge dispels fear. It is not evil to be a Witch. It is empowering.

funny you ask that most of the christian traditions are pagan like Christmas the fat in the red suit is pagan the Easter bunny it was a way for Christians to make the European population adopt the christian beliefs. mixed it with the pagans example: Santa clause (pagan) with the birth of Christ(christian) and Easter the big white bunny(pagan) and the rise of Christ from the dead. and most don't even know it and they are dummies to put down Halloween because they could find something christian to mix with it except demons lol so my point is they are confused and throw bible quotes at people because they don't believe

witchcraft itself is not evil. it is the application of the user of such, that makes it so.
i do believe in witchcraft, because i believe in miracles which brings us to angels. if angels are truly there (and i believe they are), then i have to accept the fact that demons exist.
practiciing witchcraft requires a person to give themselves over to forces, that were not meant to be tampered with, because of the association of demonology.
that said, even a "white" witch harnesses powers that were not given by God, but rather by satan (i am taught) and regardless of their incantation and it's inferred goodliness, it serves the dark master and prince of hell.
i had a niece who told me that she thought of moses as nothing more than a magician, like in dungeons and dragons. i told her that she may be right, but at least his guidance came from God.
believing in magic is not itself evil, the use and practice of it is though, no matter your intent with the forces at hand.

The Bible is very Clear that witchcraft exists. The Enemy of Our soul (Satan) Exists and is Real. He has power. BUT we have more. To not believe in witchcraft is like not believing in atoms because you can't see them that would be stupid, because of course they exist. Witches are real and those who work for Lucifer are real. GOD is Bigger than them and eventually EVERY knee shall bend, every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

No. Demons are real because hell is real. Worshipping demons and satan is also a real thing. So, no, it's not evil to believe in it. That's like saying that you don't believe in the ocean. It's there, it's real.
