Between too many writers and not enough editors, the Bible merely represents the word of God
When was the last time God came down to edit his galleries?
I tried calling the 800 number for guidance, but the lines were busy and I was requested to call back later.
As to homosexuality, it is the act that is the abomination. If you undeerstand the cultural context for the prohibition, it makes perfect sense.
For the instructions, they are translated from Chinese into English from Korean, so best of luck to you.

If you think the God sat down and wrote the bible you really need help.
The bible was inspired by God.
Now if you have a problem with that you really need to take the issue up with him.
As for as the bible being ahe actual words of god you have to be kidding.
There is no way that could ever happen.
The Bible is just a guide book to live by that was inspired by God.
If you decide to go by it great if not when you stand before the almighty you will have to explain to him why you did not believe.

Great Question,
Hello, you are right. The Bible does indeed have many errors--that is because mankind has altered and rewritten the Bible throughout the years. For example, the New Testament completely contradicts the Old Testament. The Old Testament made it very clear that there is only One God. ""Thou shall worship no other gods before me" (First commandment)...and "The Lord, thy God, is One God"......Then, with the New Testament, it claims that Jesus is the Son Of God, Savior, etc. But even that is wrong, because Jesus stated "I can--on my own--do nothing" and Jesus also prayed. That proves that Jesus is Not God. And if he was God's only begotten son, that would mean there are 2 Gods.
Well, I am here to tell you Truth. I hope that you will accept it:
The Truth is that God has indeed sent Prophets and Messengers to mankind since the beginning of time. The first Prohpet was the first man Adam. Some of the other great Prophets were Moses, King David, King Soloman and Jesus. All of them came with this message: There is only 1 God, and worship Nothing, except God". ....Moses was given the 10 commandements and the Torah, Jesus was given the gift of Miracles and the Gospel/Bible.....
But, through the years, some people changed the
words of the Torah and the Bible (thats why they contradict each other so much). ..Then, people staring worshipping Jesus--saying that he is God, and God's only begotten Son, and that He died for our sins, and is in a Trinity. But the word trinity does not exist anywhere in the New Testament, and if Jesus was God, then he wouldnt need to pray..... Yes, Moses parted the Red Sea, and Jesus did heal the sick & blind through touch--but those were all Miracles done--by God's Will--remember "I can--on my own--do nothing"...... .
Therefore, to clear up all of this, God sent the last Messenger--Muhammmad, to once agian, tell mankind the Truth. In fact, the name "Ahmad" is literally written in the Old Testament, and it says that "Ahmad will come to be a comfort to you"..(I can't recall which book & verse).....God revealed the Quran to Muhammad, which is basically a book that simply re-iterates what the Torah and Bible Originally Stated. It was revealed to Muhammad through the Angel Gabriel, and contains the actual word of God. It was revealed in Arabic, because even sceintists agree today that Arabic is the most thorough and accurate language that exists.
God revealed the Quran to Muhammad--telling mankind, once agian--that there is only 1 God, to worship nothing and no one but God, that God has no sons or daughters.... that God is The Most Gracious & Most Merciful, that we are all responsible for our own actions...to live uprightly, help others, and that we will all be raised after death on Judgement Day, to meet and face our God and be judged for our actions while we lived on earth...The Quran is so scientifally sound that some scientist actually converted to Islam after reading it----because there was no way that a man living in the middle of the desert 1400 years ago could have known those things--without modern technology.
The Truth is that God is Forgiving, Merciful, Kind, and Gentle..He would never-ever leave His beloved human creation without Guidance and Messengers..The Quran is the last & final book that God will give to Mankind--- as a Mercy and a Warning to Mankind. If we follows God's Guidance, He will bless us, help us, and reward us with a Paradise that is beyond our imaginations after we die. Life on this earth is simply a temporart test of our faith.
Unfortunately, since we are at war with Iraq, the news only shows Middle Eastern Muslims as suicide bombers and terrorists--which is very sad. But the truth is that the majority of the Muslims are of African and Asian decent. And the Quran forbids suicide, unjust murder, etc. The death and killing that you see on the news is very wrong--(although it is indeed true that Muslims are allowed to defend themslves if they are wrongly attacked--but thats a political issue and thats not what this email is about).
Litsen, Everything happens for a reason. There is a reason that you wrote this question, and a reason that I'm at this computer right now--writing this to you. The Color Purple has a song that says "If you cant sleep at night--and you wonder WHY--maybe GOD IS TRYING TO TELL YOU SOMETHING..
My father jokes and says "God is not a spook honey. People always wait for God, as if He's gonna fall out the sky--God always sends Help--and He does that--through people"..
Well, you did ask God to email you. I hope this email I sent to you was by the Will of God.
Peace and much Love
PS- In the Old Testament and in the Quran, God destroyed nations for homosexuality---so I'll let you use your common sense to figure out the answer to your question on that.

For years and years theologist have studied the bible. They have come to the conclusion, based on unreleased doctrines, that there are indeed many things in the bible that have been wrongly written/greatly misinterpreted. It is said that the bible we have used for years is not at all like what the "original" bible should be.

The link below goes to a site that you may find enlightening. There are many many "mistakes" in the bible as well as many many things that the church never talks about.
and yes .. thinking for yourself is required. :-)
