what would you include if you were building a "man's sancturary" in your home. What type of decore or items would you put in it? Would it be a theme room or maybe a collage of all your interests?

I think most guys will agree that a "man room" is more about stuff than decor. Personally I would go with a media room/library. I would probably include:
Projection TV with digital cable and DVD player
Kick *** stereo with surround sound (vinyl player a must-have)
Gaming system (PS3 or xbox, whichever is your style)
Some comfortable couches & recliners
Plenty of bookshelves
One remote control that controls everything, plus the lights
A hidden fridge and a few cabinets (for beer & snacks)

I'm sure there are about 100 more things, but I can't remember them right now...I think I got the important stuff.

The success of any decorating scheme depends on how well it suits all the members of your family. To create a décor that you will be happy with, think about what you want and also what you don’t want.

It’s a good idea to know what you have before you begun to change things. As you begin to pull your design ideas together, think about your preference and what will work in your home.

Color can work wonders... it can change the look of a room and change your feeling about the room. You can start by looking through magazines, and catalogs. Give yourself plenty of time, it will take longer than you think, and your ideas will develop as you go.

Gathering samples is a great way to begin. If you are starting with a color, your samples might include fabric, paint chips, wallpaper, carpet, wood, stone, and tile.

Knowing what you can spend on a project will give you a clearer idea of what you can achieve. If you’ll on a limited budget, mark off those things that will make the most difference, such as a new wall color and a new sofa.

You can set the mood of a room in lots of ways, such as lights, and furnishings. There are no hard or fast rules or must-do sequence for this process.

You don't. She may have friends because of her material goods. Is she a friendly person or a *****? She maybe pretty now but see how she may look 20 years from now. The best thing to do is be yourself and hopefully people will see through her eventually. You're young along with the other kids and when you and others get older you can describe her and laugh at these kind of people.

Easy & quick to clean = Install a drain in floor to wash down with a hose. Cover surfaces with a durable washable paint, metal or plastic sheeting, ceramic tile, linoleum, cement, leather
Nothing to pick up and put away = TV, pool table, video/arcade games, music/in stereo, bar/neon signs, posters, mood lighting
Self contained = Diswasher, garbage disposal/compactor, refrigerator, microwave, and don't forget the Bar.
