I heard a couple Cajuns talikng. One, while reading a newspaper, asked the other,"What is a yet?"

The other said, "What in hell you talkin' 'bout?"

The other said, "It say in dis paper,'A woman was shot las' nite and the bullet is still in her yet.'"

So what is a woman's yet?

It's sorta like a "fracas". There was a shooting near here the other day and the news said a women was shot in the fracas.

i think it could've been a mistake on the news paper's part!!!...or maybe its jus the way they talk down there.....my grandma say things like that and she says us instead of we..and things like that!!!
