Well, you probably wouldn't like real Mexican food, because it's nothing like you see at a "Mexican" restaurant here in the US. Trust me, the food is totally different and really not that great. I mean, turtle soup? yuck! I have actually been to an authentic Mexican restaurant and it was not very good. They didn't have any tamales or enchiladas or burritos. That is called Tex-Mex food. And you're right, it is delicious. So I would have to say the America has the best food. We probably have the most variety than any other country in the world.

I love all sorts of other cuisines. But I have to say my favorite is right here in this country, I love southern or what some call soul food. I seen another country try to make a play on collard greens. It looked like they had minced up enough garlic to feed the entire continent with in the collards, stuffed them in a giant mushroom cap and topped with some kind of cheese. Uh, can I please just have the things cooked and fried in fat back grease on the side of my smothered fried chicken and potato salad please?
Lord knows I love some real Mexican, chinese, vietnamese foods, but when it comes to comfort its southern all the way.

I would say America, simply because you can find influences of all the great cuisines in the world. When American food is made by a good cook, it can't be beat.

If you're talking about other countries, I would say Japanese food is best (just my opinion). They use a lot of seafood and vegetables, which is healthy on top of tasting good. Plus most of their prepared food is cut into bite-size pieces by the chef - how cool is that?

USA. Since we are a melting pot we have a great variety of food from around the world. Even if you meant ethnic food, the American variety in the US is very high. New England seafood is nothing like BBQ in the south. And New Orleans food is a great mixture of types not duplicated in other parts of the country. I doubt any country has the variety available in the US.

Ohhhh that's a hard one!

I think I might be with you, Mexican food is amazing. I grew up on it since I'm from San Diego and we have a huge Mexican population. California burritos are my favorite - carne asada, pico de gallo, cheese, and sliced potatoes, AMAZING!

But, Thai food is pretty great too! I love the mix of sweet, spicy, and sour.
