How to plot two colors in acad 2006?

I have a drawing in red and black. For some reason, the black does not plot.

Are you out of black ink?

Is the black on non-plotting layer?

Have you rebooted your computer and restarted the plotter (this fixes so many problems!)

It has to be a plotting problem.... not a problem with ACAD 2006
