That depends on the type of keyboard. The standard QUERTY typewriter keyboard is 54 keys. Computer keyboards have more to add additional features. Typically, computer keyboards also have the number pad (17), the cursor keys (4), and control keys (13), bringing the total to 88. Then add on function keys and special multimedia keys and the number increases.

So you need to know the make and model for a definite answer. However, every English QUERTY keyboard has at least 54 keys.

on a piano keyboard? I think it's 188.. on a computer keyboard? I'm too lazy to count 'em. On a typewriter keyboard? Well, I don't remember.. on a keyboard of an aadding machine? I think it would be 17... On a keyboard of a teller machine (atm)? No se, baby!.. or a cash-register?.. hmmm..
Be more specific, ok?
