faith is belief without evidence, so how is faith evidence?

personal experience. you can call Jesus and feel something, experience something.
of course, you can't prove it to the person standing next to you. but it's evidence for the individual who is bold enough to try.

If you want cold, hard evidence, I am afraid I cannot offer you any.
Many manuscripts have been found with slightly different, yet mostly agreeing stories. These manuscripts have been turned into the gospels. Is it possible that the story still isn't corrent? Yes. Is it likely that all parts of the story are 100% accurate? No.

Really there isn't but some people need something to believe in as they go through life and the bible or any other religious stories can provide kind of like a safety net to the future.

there is sketchy historical evidence that a person like the Jesus of the bible lived. there is nothing beyond that. also, at that time there were many prophets who made claims similar to those made by Jesus' followers. you may have heard of these other competing gospels that circulated for centuries. the bible we have today is a collection of these gospels, chosen by a church official.

The evidence that you are looking for is the millions of followers that Jesus has. Many of us can testify of miraculous happenings that ,at least to us, is evidence enough of his existence. His word is truth and is coming to pass daily. Read the news, watch the news program; Armageddon is near. We are forewarned by the holy scriptures.
