I think a person should know about the subject before deciding. There are many systems of belief. Christian, Buddhist, whatever. Do some research and decide what best for you, it may be that you don't believe anything, but at least you explored who you are and what you personally believe before making a decision. There is Love in the world.

To Him, the bible is proof enough that he loves you. He doesn't retaliate because he's omipotent and completely understands what each person is feeling. Heaven is blind to no one's pain. But... we've totally screwed up with the free will and sometimes I wonder why he doesn't go Zeus on us and burn the earth... Just my personal opinion.

It can disprove certain assumptions, but nothing more.

It proves that if there is a god, and he knows what we are doing here, that one of the following is true:

- he doesn't care
- he cares, but doesn't retaliate for some reason; maybe he isn't able to (not true of the Biblical god), maybe he has a non-interference policy (not true of the Biblical god), maybe his love outweighs his anger (also not true of the Biblical god unless you are one of the elect).

Some people believe, and some don't. You are never going to be able to change peoples minds, so don't try. It's called personal freedom to choose whatever one wants to believe. If you truly believe in God then you should know that He doesn't punish people like that.

GOD FLIPPING CREATED US! The thing all you half-baked athiests don't understand is that God lets us do whatever we want, he just gives us a little nudge here and there. NOTHING IS GOD'S FAULT! IT IS ALL THE HUMAN RACE'S FAULT! God helps us in time, and when it is nessescary. He gives us that little nudge we need every now and then.

According to the Bible/religion we all get to burn in Hell for our skeptism. Where's the love? We know that Hell doesn't exist and God doesn't exist the way the Bible tells it or indeed he would smite us. This is one of many big contradictions in the Bible.
