make food plots like corn, clover, apples, and put peanut butter on tree trumps.also before doing all that scooped the area for deer signs and see were they are or coming though because the more food u can put out the deers will stay in that area if there is water nearby, and salt blocks out.

well, if you're looking to do it for this year, that may be a problem. I'm not sure what the regs are in your area are on baiting, but you'll want to provide salt and/or mineral licks. Also, find out what deer in your area eat. you may need to provide a few bales of hay, or some corn. There are also many types of attractants on the market that you can use, such as Mrs. Doe Pee (www.mrsdoepee.com). A great resource is your local Dept of conservation office. Hope this helps!

this close to the season, automatic feeders will get deer in your area in about a 2 weeks. skittish big bucks might not come to it, but when the rut kicks in they will follow does there.

food. you can put in plots. it's too late for corn, but maybe you can plant some soybeans now or clover in a month or two. if planting isn't your thing, you can use a timed feeder with corn.
