It can damage your hair but in my opinion its worth it.. try a protective spray such as Lee Stafford POKER STRAIGHT Flat Iron Protection Shine Mist. Also, make sure your straighteners are good, because the crappier the straighteners, the crappier condition your hair will be in! GHDs are the best. Also the better the straighteners, the less times you'll have to go over that part of your hair and the less damage you do to your hair.
Also try not to straighten your hair every time you wash it... Give your hair a break every so often and try a conditioning mask weekly to avoid your hair drying out. Good luck, hope they work out for you x

here's a little trick. apply a coat of hair serum to your hair before straightening, this help to reduce the damage as well as reduce frizz. also do not let the straightening stay on the hair for longer than 5 seconds.

if not done properly it can damage your hair. also do not to it everday at the most your probally should use a straightener 3 times a week. if you want to straighten your hair everyday then blow dry it.

Okay, well it depends on what type of hair you have ...i think you should ask a hair dresser or hairstylist and let them feel your hair so they can know the texture ...be careful who you ask make sure to ask someone that has dealt with different textures and types of hair.
