Find one equally as shy and prepare yourself for a very quiet evening...no, just kidding...I do the same thing. Think of what you are going to say in your head and then remember to breathe. What's she going to do, eat you alive? Nope. The worst thing she can do is say no. Oh well...her loss, right? Just keep reminding yourself of that and you'll be fine.

I've had this problem. Here's what my Dad told me.
Any pretty girl you see at the store behind the counter at the bank, girls you don't know. Tell them that they are pretty. You have nothing to lose. Practice all the time and then when it matters you will have gotten over some of the fear. It works!

i'm exactly like that around guys i have even the slightest interest in. just always act yourself. my friend said that she finds i act different around younger guys because i don't have any attraction towards them. i act more like myself and that's the best thing you can ever do. it kind of bugs me because i couldn't ever see myself dating a guy younger (in years, not months) than me, but it's the idea behind it that matters. i know it may seem like it's taking forever and it's not worth it.. but saving up for the one right guy to come along is, i think, something every girl deserves - because in the end you have the guy. guys are into girls. period. there's different guys, different tastes. who knows. just keep an open mind and remember that if they think you're not good enough for them, they're not good enough for you. P.S. NEVER SHOW DESPERATENESS. it turns off every single type of guy.

It is a very common thing and you dont have to worry about it just be relaxed and practise what you want to say in front of the mirror let those words come from your heart, but the important thing is to just relax.
